PreK Disabilities to Kindergarten

The transition to kindergarten from a preschool disabilities program can be a major event for many children and their families. Although there is no current legislation requiring a formalized transition process, it would behoove individuals or agencies to have processes in place that support the entry into kindergarten.

As part of work scope of Technical Assistance and Training System a technical assistance document outlining the best practices surrounding transition to kindergarten will be produced.
